Will Your Kids Be Ready

Will Your Kids Be Ready
For Who’s Waiting For Them?
Steve Wagner trains students to defend their Christian faith and values against
challenges from teachers and peers. He focuses especially on bioethical issues
including abortion and cloning, but moral relativism, evolution, and the
resurrection of Jesus Christ find their place in his seminars, where he focuses
on imparting skills through interactive activities. One pastor remarked that
Steve’s presentation “is the best youth workshop I have ever attended.”
Steve has spoken to audiences in Canada and across the United States,
including an audience of 25,000 at The Call, an assembly of Christians meeting
for prayer and repentance at the Cottonbowl in Dallas, Texas. He has
presented the pro-life position to classes at Cal State Long Beach and Cal
State Los Angeles and in debates at the University of Toronto and at Cal State
Dominguez Hills. Steve specializes in training college students to engage their campuses in large-
scale discussion on abortion. He has trained and debated students on more than ten major university
campuses nationwide.
Your students will be challenged on critical issues, will they be prepared? Let Steve help as you seek
to make your kids ready for what’s waiting for them once they leave the comfort of your youth group.

What people are saying about Steve’s presentations...
“Steve is really good at dealing with and teaching smart annoying punk kids. (that’s a
compliment) Keep up the good work!”
Rachel, Student
“I liked the interaction and role-play because it’s real life...I learned a lot especially
about compassion and asking questions.”
Johanna, Student
“Steve thank you so much! You were so cool and you have incredible speaking talent.
I had fun and you really interacted with us. I liked how you involved us and spoke to
us while you were talking. You’re great, keep letting Jesus use you for Himself.
Thanks.”
April, Student
“Steve not only presented compelling arguments that the others were not able to
counter, but he did so in such a winsome manner that people in the audience were
doubly-persuaded. If I were in a debate, I sure would want to be on the same side as
Steve!”
John Kilner, President
Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity
Here are just a few of Steve’s presentations...
Who’s Waiting for You?
Within four short years, every high school student will leave the safety of a Christian youth
group and be off to college or the workplace. Are you ready for who’s waiting for you when
you get there? Christian values are under attack from all sides as outdated and dangerous
and millions of students have absorbed that viewpoint. If you are a committed Christian,
don’t expect a welcome party when you arrive on campus. To survive, you must know how
to persuasively defend your Christian faith on hostile turf. This talk will show you how, by
connecting your faith to three key areas: philosophy, history, and bioethics.
Back to School Survival Guide
Getting students ready for a new school year means far more than choosing trendy clothes
and a speedy laptop computer. It means preparing them to persuasively defend their faith
on hostile turf. This presentation gives you the tools you need to respond to evolution,
abortion, religious pluralism, and moral relativism. Let Steve teach your students to use
these tools and watch their faith thrive on campus.
What Christian Students Can Do to Stop Abortion
Teenagers in America go in for abortions hundreds of thousands of times each year.
Abortion is promoted by many teachers and parents as the best option for teens who “made
a small mistake.” What should Christian students do when confronted with an unplanned
pregnancy? And what can they do for friends who are planning to have an abortion? This
presentation gives teens the information and reasons they must have to make a good
decision about abortion along with a gracious and firm approach to saving the unborn in
their community.
Sex for Teens: Truth or Consequences?
There’s a rumor going around. It says “Everybody’s doing it.” Is this true? What should
Christian teens think about sex? Is Planned Parenthood correct when they say each of us
must trust ourselves when we think we’re ready for sex? Are they right when they say oral
sex and masturbation are normal, beneficial alternatives to sexual intercourse? Does the
classical Christian position make sense? How can Christian teens stay pure in the face of
great temptation? What are the consequences of sexual behavior outside of marriage?
Steve answers these questions with hard-hitting evidence and personal experiences and
then gives students training in how to develop the key to sexual purity: the virtue of self-
control.
