HANDS IN SCRIPTURE

HANDS IN SCRIPTURE Introduction Preview Hands in Job Adam's Hand Woman's Helping Hand Difference Between Left Hand and Right Creation of Man The Lord's Hand The Lord's Ways David Writes about Hands Lord's Hand in the Tabernacle Manual Labor Hand Cramps Reason for Studying Hands Divination Methodology Preview The human hands as the creation of God are full of symbolic meaning. God made the hands and placed His stamp of approval upon them. He gave each hand a unique identity. No two sets of fingerprints are the same. But do the fingerprints reveal anything other than strange patterns? Each hand has 5 fingers, the number for grace. Four fingers are weak, but the addition of the thumb provides strength, which is an illustration of grace, just as the Lord rules over the four seasons. There are two hands, one to help the other. With two hands there are 10 fingers, the number for the Laws of Establishment. There are ten commandments in the Decalogue. There are 15 finger joints in each hand, the number for a covering. The hands cover objects which they grasp. The hands are used for manual labor. The fingers are used for writing, pointing, feeling, and touching. There are strange lines in the palm, which are similar in everyone, and yet with subtle variations. There are a multitude of marks in the palm. Some appear to be symbols of crosses, pits, mounds, spots, and circles. Is there intelligence in these markings? What do they mean? Did God intend for us to understand our own hands? The hands are full of meaning that can be readily understood, once a vocabulary and analytical methodology is established. But this may sound like palm reading and divination, which is expressly prohibited by the Word of God. Why do palm readers use the vocabulary of Satan? And why has Satan invested so much energy to develop lies about the parts and meaning of the hands? Palm readers name the parts of the hand after demons like Venus, Saturn, and Apollo. Satan did the same thing with the Solar System and Constellations. When the devil invents a system of lies about something, he's obviously trying to hide something important. The stars aren't evil and the hands aren't evil. God never intended for Christians to be prohibited from looking at their own hands or understanding the signs of the Zodiac. However, Christians who have been brainwashed with the devil's lies don't have a clue about the real meaning of the hands. The only way to know who is right and who is wrong is to go back to the Bible and dig out the truth. Bible Doctrine must be the vocabulary for understanding the truth. The Bible contains the truth about hands, which will be demonstrated. But, it turns out, that the hands have their own unique vocabulary and system of explanation. The study of the hands from scripture will be a new paradigm, which will require considerable study before it is mastered. The rules of interpretation of scripture will be applied to the hands in order to establish a new vocabulary for Christians that is true and not based upon the devil's lies. This is not an exercise in palm reading in the sense of divination and telling the future. It is an exercise in understanding the divine creation of the human hand and its significance. God's gifts, or special talents for an individual are recorded in the hands. These will be defined from scripture. God's will, authority, and help of the Holy Spirit will be shown. And the Right Man - Right Woman relationship will be revealed through the hands. Explanations of the past will be given through the hands, but little, if any, foretelling of the future will be given. The hands are an excellent record of the past, but the future belongs to God. Definitions of personality and mental problems will be given through the hands. Laws of Establishment function will be explained through the hands, but Spirituality will not. The hands are physical - not spiritual. So why bother to study them? Because the Christian has a physical body in this life and will not be free from it until death or the Rapture. And the Christian must work for a living and be associated with Right Man or Right Woman, who are physical. And, the hands from this life along with all their marks and scars, will be part of the Resurrection Body for all eternity. That reason, alone, lends credence to investigating the meaning of the hands. Note of caution: The explanation of the "Hands in Scripture," like the "Numbers in Scripture," is uniquely defined here. That means that not a single theologically accurate reference can be cited in known literature. The vocabulary of palmists will not be used; and the Christian would be advised to steer clear of these people. Even when these people think they understand the truth, it may be a Spiritual lie. A soulish truth can be a Spiritual lie. However, there is a branch of psychiatry, which is based upon sound medical practice and statistical evidence, that has discovered the relationship between the hands and cognitive processes. This discipline has empirical evidence to substantiate conclusions. In many cases the linkage between the teachings of the Bible and the findings of this discipline are easy to recognize. Another piece of advice: The Holy Spirit is the teacher of the Christian. For those who are not saved, Salvation is more important than reading about hands. It is important to study Bible Doctrine in the Filling of the Holy Spirit, which requires Rebound. Don't approach this study or any Bible Study without the Filling of the Holy Spirit. Those who are not filled with the Holy Spirit are in the Cosmic System. Palm readers who are not filled with the Holy Spirit are in the Cosmic System. The Christian must always obey the Holy Spirit even when studying under a reputable pastor-teacher. Since the Holy Spirit is our teacher, that prohibits counseling. The Holy Spirit is our counselor. "But our tutor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and He will remind you of all that I said to you. (John 14:26) Even if a palm reader does know the truth, he or she (especially she), does not have a right to counsel, which includes telling the future or giving advice. If a palm reader is not filled with the Holy Spirit, that person is subject to demonism. Demons lie. Hands in Job The study of hands is perhaps as old as history. Hands were understood in Job, which is the oldest book in the Bible. Elihu, the Judge, discussed the analysis of hands with Job during his illness. When Job got sick, the hands were one of the things consulted. The insight into hands offered by Elihu was obviously common knowledge shared by Job and the other four men who came to try to help Job. No one tried to refute Elihu's observations. This indicates that Job's helpers were pursuing a Spiritual solution to Job's illness. They, therefore, consulted the hands as a part of their diagnosis. Elihu said: "He sets a seal on the hand of every man, That all Right Men may come to a knowledge of His creative work. (Job 37:7) God sets His seal on the hand of every man. The word for setting a seal is the Hebrew
